Physiotherapists are healthcare professionals with expertise in diagnosing, treating, and preventing issues that affect mobility, physical function, and athletic performance. Usually, people seek a physiotherapist because of a pain complaint. But, often, ROM and strength are considered integral to the solution. Of course, balance, coordination, agility, technique and many other factors that affect physical health are assessed and considered. FCAMPT stands for Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physical Therapists. "Manipulation" is the adjustment of your joints. An FCAMPT physiotherapist is a practitioner with advanced training and expertise in manual therapy, the hands-on mobilization of your joints that can range from moving your knee after surgery to adjusting a kink in your back or neck. Just a small fraction of physiotherapists achieve the FCAMPT designation, but an FCAMPT with an athletic background is a valuable professional to help you with all your injury and fitness goals.

Justin hails from Saskatchewan but has been in the GTA since 2011. He has 18 years of experience and he’s an FCAMPT, meaning he has advanced expertise in manual therapy and joint manipulation. Justin graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with distinction and recognition for his achievement in orthopaedics. He practiced in Regina for 6 years before doing a Masters degree in Advanced Orthopaedics at Western. Until this year, Justin owned and operated a pair of mid-sized physiotherapy clinics in Etobicoke. After moving to Campbellville, Justin decided his ambition is to work and contribute to his local small town community. He sold the clinics and built a clinic space on his rural property.

Justin has extensive athletic experience to inform his practice. He grew up lifting weights, running, and playing a wide assortment of sports before focusing on squash. Justin was the top squash player in Saskatchewan for many years, competing at an elite level across Canada and internationally. He was an Academic All-Canadian when he played for the Western team. In 2006, Justin won a national championship in sprint canoe with the Wascana Racing Canoe Club. More recently, Justin has trained for triathlon, road cycling, and mountain bike. You can find Justin on a trail somewhere in the Halton Region with his dog, Luke, most days of the week.
